Vadodara: Vadodara ready to welcome PM Modi, PM to gift development works worth more than Rs 35,000 crore

Vadodara: A special arrangement has been made by the administration for the arrival of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Vadodara on September 8. During this visit, the Prime Minister will hand over Rs. The foundation stone of development works worth more than Rs 35,000 crore will be laid and inaugurated by the people. The event in the city has been named 'NaMo for Viksit Bharat', which will be held with the slogan "Development from Vadodara to Varanasi and Varanasi to Development". The stage is being prepared in such a way that the Prime Minister can directly interact with the people in this program, which will start at 10:30 am on September 8. The preparations for the event have been finalized and all the preparations were also reviewed by the state president. BookMyShow and unprecedented enthusiasm

For the first time, the municipal corporation had created the facility of online registration to get admission to a government program. For this, the registration started from September 5 through the 'BookMyShow' app. There was such an unprecedented enthusiasm among the people about the Prime Minister's program that all the bookings according to the capacity were completed within an hour of the registration starting. As the seats were limited, about 36,000 people were deprived of registration. In this regard, city BJP president Dr. Jai Prakash Soni said that those who could not register this time will definitely be included in the upcoming programs

police is in place for security and traffic management

The Vadodara police system is fully prepared in view of the Prime Minister's visit. A high-level security meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Commissioner of Police, in which the security arrangements were reviewed in detail. Tight security arrangements have been made from the airport to the venue (pavilion). 11 DCPs, 17 ACPs and around 2,000 police personnel will be deployed for the security of the Prime Minister. Apart from this, special vigilance is being kept by the police at sensitive places in the city and traffic diversions have also been planned to ensure that citizens do not face difficulties in movement
