Vadodara: Strict security like a camp in Vadodara for PM Modi's visit; 2,000 police personnel will be deployed

With Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Vadodara now counting down, the Vadodara city police have finalized the security arrangements. An important security review meeting was held with all the top police officers of the city under the chairmanship of the Vadodara Police Commissioner. In this meeting, it has been decided to arrange tight and tight arrangements on the entire route from the arrival of PM Modi to the venue pavilion.

Vadodara East turned into a police camp

More than 2,000 police personnel will be deployed on the route of the Prime Minister's convoy. Security will be commanded by officers of the rank of 11 DCP (Deputy Commissioner of Police) and 17 ACP (Assistant Commissioner of Police). During PM Modi's visit, special watches have been set up by the police at all sensitive places and high-rise buildings in the city. The entire route will be continuously monitored by CCTV cameras and drone surveillance.

Tight security from airport to pavilion

Regional officers will be on standby to provide security at key junctions including Airport Road, Kalaghoda, Pavilion Ground. Quick Response Team (QRT) and SRP teams will be deployed at all sensitive points on the route. The Vadodara Traffic Police has issued a notification for alternate routes and traffic diversions to avoid any inconvenience to the common citizens and motorists during the event.
