'Power hungry Thackeray brothers forced, betrayed brotherhood', shinde and Fadnavis hit back

Maharastra Politics News: Yesterday, after 20 years, a big scene was seen in Maharashtra politics when the Thackeray brothers (Uddhav Thackeray and Raj Thackeray) appeared together in public on the same platform, forgetting the bitterness of two decades. The rally, organised in the name of 'Marathi Pride', proved to be emotional for the supporters. At the rally, the two brothers launched a scathing attack on the ruling BJP and Eknath Shinde and the Hindi language controversy. 

However, now the leaders of the BJP and the Mahayuti alliance have termed the coming on the same platform of the Thackeray brothers as political compulsions and a nuisance of brotherhood. Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde took a dig at Uddhav Thackeray's speech, saying, "Raj Thackeray showed sensitivity towards Marathi language, while Uddhav's entire speech was full of jealousy, bitterness and lust for power.
