In Punjab, two MLAs have quit the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) after the first list of 40 candidates was released. These include Chetan Singh Jaudamajra, MLA from Samana, Patiala, and Harmeet Singh Pathanmajra, MLA from Sanaur. However, no new candidate has been announced from their seats so far. Jaudamajra has been a minister in the AAP government, but some time ago, the party made former Akali leader Surjit Singh Rakha the in-charge of the Samana assembly seat in his place. On the other hand, a rape case was registered against Harmeet Singh Pathanmajra. He then fled to Australia. When he returned to join the investigation, he was arrested by the police. Both the MLAs held a press conference in Chandigarh and said that the guarantees made by Arvind Kejriwal regarding drugs, MSP on crops, education and health in Punjab have not been fulfilled. Both the MLAs will join the BJP in Delhi tomorrow. 4 important things from MLAs Jaudamajra-Pathanmajra
