Since the launch of the helpline, 181 Abhayam Rescue Vans have reached the spot in case of an emergency and provided help to 30,212 women, including its counsellor. In order to make women's safety smarter in the digital age, features like 'Panic Button' and 'Phone Shaking' provided in the '181 Mobile App' make it possible for women to reach the specific location of the helpline center without having to call in times of trouble. The corporation has come up with an interest waiver scheme this year. If the outstanding property tax is fully repaid, then a total discount of 5000 on property tax interest and 5000 on water tax interest is eligible for a total discount of 10000. Citizens can avail the benefits of this scheme till 31st March, 2026. The Rajkot Municipal Corporation has collected Rs 389.29 crore in the current financial year.
