Meghraja batted brilliantly in Rajkot city and district. Areas including Gondal Road, Dhebar Road, Race Course Ring Road, Mavdi in the city received torrential rains. Torrential rains led to waterlogging in Mawdi and adjoining areas. Areas including Yagnik Road, Race Course Ring Road were also flooded. Areas including 150-foot Ring Road, Raiya Telephone Exchange were flooded. Motorists were stuck at several places as rainwater receded on the road. Vehicles were also stopped as they were submerged in rainwater. Motorists were also stuck as rainwater gushed into the drains of Astron Chowk and Popatpara. Motorists were seen gasping for water in areas including Amin Road.
