IND vs WI: Captain Shubman Gill did not even defend 351 runs

IND vs WI: On October 3, the Indian team came to the field with the intention of making a clean sweep of the West Indies. But who knew that the world No. 1 team India would not be able to defend even a score of 351. Shai Hope loves to play on Indian pitches, his unbeaten 162-run innings is proof of this. Even though the Caribbean team batted well, where did Team India make a mistake in the end, so that the West Indies managed to achieve their biggest run chase in ODIs

Captain Gill believed that Team India needed to perform better in the field of fielding and death bowling. West Indies had to score 56 runs in 5 overs, but poor bowling in the death overs from India resulted in West Indies scoring the last 56 runs in just 20 balls

who was the one to blame for the defeat?
After the match, captain Shubman Gill said, "I was happy with my team's score and the match was under our control. But due to dew (due) being 4 overs behind (slow-over rate) and then they snatched the match out of our hands. If there was no penalty for slow-over rate, the match would have gone to the last over

In fact, the Indian team suffered from a slow-over rate in the third ODI match. After the 46th over, under the penalty, the Indian team was allowed to keep only 4 fielders outside the 30-yard circle. As per the rules, the third powerplay is going on for 41-50 overs and during this time the bowling team can keep 5 fielders out.

death bowling needs improvement
By the 45th over, West Indies had scored 296 runs for the loss of 5 wickets. They had to score 56 runs in 5 overs and one wicket here could break all the momentum of the West Indies, but the Indian bowlers could not create pressure. Shubman Gill also mentioned the improvement in death bowling. "Sometimes we don't know if we are defending or attacking, especially during the death overs," Gill said
