Sumul Dairy's election schedule has been announced. The official notification for the general election of the managing committee of Sumul Dairy has been published. The process of filing nomination papers will be held from June 20 to June 24. The last date for withdrawal of candidatures is June 29 to July 4<>
after which the final list of contesting candidates will be published on July 6 at 12:00 noon. If voting is necessary for this prestigious election, it will be held on Wednesday, July 15 from 9 am to 4 pm. Separate polling stations have been set up for 16 different constituencies in Surat and Tapi districts. The counting of votes will take place on July 17 and the results will be declared on the same day.
Politics in Surat and Tapi districts has become heated as soon as theReturning Officer has issued a formal notification in this regard. According to the official schedule, the polling process will be held on July 15 for all the 16 constituencies of Sumul Dairy. Where the representatives of cattle rearers and cooperative societies will exercise their franchise. There is a possibility of a bitter clash between BJP-inspired panels and other cooperative leaders to dominate the dairy, which is considered the economic backbone of south Gujarat. As soon as the notification is issued, the process of deciding the candidates has already begun.
Surat and Tapi Districts have been set up for different 16 Polling Stations. These include mainly Sumulderi (Surat), THR Plant (Chalthan), New Pardi Dairy, APMC (Mandvi, Umarpada, Kukarmunda, Dolwan), Vanskui, Surat District Co-operative Bank (Mangrol), Surat District Co-operative Union (Bardoli), These include cold stations at Uchhal, Nizar and Bajipura and various halls and schools at Vyara and Songadh. The counting of votes will be held on Friday, July 17 at 11 am at the banquet hall at Sumul Dairy, Surat and the results will be declared shortly thereafter.
