Vadodara: The Vadodara police have launched a probe into the liquor smuggling case worth Rs 13 lakh from Ramesh Nagar in Gorva.
Acting on information that a large quantity of liquor was being supplied in rickshaws in Ramesh Nagar, the LCB Zone-1 squad seized liquor, rickshaw and mobile phone worth Rs 13 lakh and seized a total of Rs 15 lakh and arrested Khalid Kasambhai Sheikh (Ramesh Nagar) and Md Yunus Zakirbhai Sheikh (Sainath Nagar, Koradia Road) and obtained a one-day remand.
