Police identified five suspects on the basis of CCTV footage and started interrogation. On the 10th, a bag of Bundi laddoos was hanging from the handle of the main door of Gordhanbhai Donda's house in Shaligram Heights. Usually, acquaintances or neighbours distribute prasad in this way. He had no doubt about it. Gordhanbhai, his wife and daughter-in-law ate these laddoos. Shortly after that, the health of all three deteriorated. He was shifted to the hospital for treatment. The effect of the poison was most visible on Gordhanbhai. His condition is said to be extremely critical. Doctors became suspicious of the serious effect. Upon examination of the prasad sample, it was found that the laddoos were filled with grain pellets. Considering the seriousness of the incident, the Uttaran police have launched an investigation. CCTV footage from Shaligram Heights showed suspicious movements of five persons. They are being identified and interrogated.
