Surat News: The municipal commissioner has formed a high-power committee to probe the demolition of ghost demolition in Nasirnagar in Surat. According to the information received, the municipal commissioner had formed a committee to investigate the ghost demolition in Surat. A six-member committee has been formed to probe the ghost demolition. These include two deputy municipal commissioners, 1 AD city engineer and 2 executive engineers. The committee will submit the report of the inquiry to the municipal commissioner. Later, action will be taken against the culprit on the basis of the report. 3 controversial officials have been included in the committee. AD city engineer Mahesh Chavda, executive engineer Kamlesh Vasava and RD ganja wala have also been involved in controversy in the past
will submit a report to the Municipal Commissioner
TheHigh Power Committee will examine the role of which employee and submit a report to the Municipal Commissioner. The committee has a junior deputy commissioner as chairman and a senior deputy commissioner as members. However, the 3 officers involved in this committee have already been embroiled in controversy themselves, so the question arises as to what these officers will investigate. Yes, when Additional City Engineer Mahesh Chavda was the zonal chief of Katargam, the former BJP corporator did not take any action despite submitting a file of illegal constructions. The commissioner was transferred to Rander following a controversy over the illegal demolition of the hospital. Meanwhile, when executive engineer Kamlesh Vasava was also in Varachha zone, an audio clip of him talking to former opposition corporators went viral and demanded an ACB probe. Even in the coordination meeting, the MLA was pushed to the science centre after he levelled allegations of corruption. Executive engineer RD Ganjawala was also transferred to the Affordable Housing Department after he was embroiled in a controversy over the construction of a number of illegal structures in the Central Zone. It has become a topic of discussion all over Surat as to whether such officials, who have themselves been subjected to controversies and punishments, will conduct an impartial investigation into the illegal construction
The high-power inquiry committee will be headed by Deputy Commissioner M.M. It will work under the chairmanship of Gajjar. The Committee comprises of eminent experts from the administrative and technical wings. The committee will submit its official report to the commissioner after a thorough investigation into the role played by the responsible officers of the Central Zone, at whose behest and under what rules the action was taken. More than 100 small and big properties in Nasir Nagar in the central zone area of Surat Municipal Corporation were suddenly demolished without any proper legal prior notice. This was strongly opposed by the locals.
