Teachers of Surat Education Committee are again 'all-in-one' employees of the system: Responsibility of supervision and census before the start of the course

Surat : With the reopening of the Surat Education Committee's school, the teachers of Surat Nagar Primary Education Committee have once again been forced to do other work than teach. Amid claims of improving the quality of education, teachers have been included in the supervision of census, book distribution, cleanliness drives, admissions and now supplementary examinations of classes 10-12. All the textbooks have not yet reached the hands of the students and regular study has not even started, while 125 teachers have been given exam duty orders, creating a situation where the teachers are more busy in the city of the system than the classroom. 

With the commencement of the new academic session for the teachers of the committee, the teachers who take up the responsibility of shaping the future of the students have once again been entrusted with the burden of non-academic duties more than teaching. On the first day itself, the attendance of students was palpable.
