Sales consultant duped the company of Rs 10 lakh: During booking, he gave dummy receipts to customers, fled with the down payment money in his account.

Incidents of fraud are increasing day by day in Vadodara. A complaint has been lodged at the Makarpura police station by a sales consultant of a motor company in the city's Maneja area of the city about a fraud of Rs 10 lakh. He cheated customers by creating fake receipts in the name of the company Vipulbhai Kiritbhai Shah, manager of Shivanshu Motors LLP near Maneja crossing in the city, has lodged a complaint against Jaideep Babulal Parmar, an employee of the company. According to the complaint, Jaideep Parmar (resident of Krishna Enclave, Chhani, Vadodara) has been working as a sales consultant in the company for the last four years. He cheated the company's customers and misused the name of the company to create false receipts. The accused grabbed the down payment of two people On July 3, 2025, Chiragbhai booked a Creta SX car and gave Joydeep Rs 6,25,000 as a down payment. However, according to the company's rules, only Rs. Cash of Rs. 1,99,000 was to be taken. Joydeep had made a false receipt and kept the amount in his account. Later, Priyal Patel booked a Creta SX car and transferred the booking amount of Rs 31,000 to Joydeep's Google Pay account. Along with this, a person named Aditi Mitra also booked a Creta SX car and paid Rs. A down payment of Rs 1,08,329 was transferred to Joydeep's Google Pay account, but he was not given any receipt. The company was lime of more than Rs 10 lakh Later, on June 4, 2025, Jaideep gained the trust of the company and transferred a cheque of Rs 1,50,000 to his account through NEFT due to personal reasons, which he did not return. Along with this, the accused had given accessories worth Rs 90,000 to the customers without the company's knowledge. As a result, the company suffered a total loss of Rs 10,04,329 and the manager has filed a complaint of cheating against the accused.
