Since then, 8 satellites of this series have been launched till 2019. Satellites launched in 2007, 2008 and 2010 can see up to 0.8 meters and satellites launched in 2016-17 can see up to 0.625 meters. He played a crucial role in the Balakot strike. Cartosat's third-class satellite was launched in 2019. It has cameras of the most modern capacity so far. So far, 5 satellites launched work for the army. In daylight, the microscopic telescope captures a microwave radar picture in the middle of the day with a Cartosat satellite of 7.50 km per second. Rotates at a speed The Cartosat Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) has been installed in a sun synchronase orbit at an altitude of 500 to 650 km from the Earth. Being close to the Earth, it can take a high resolution image. While orbiting the earth, it takes pictures of our country as well as other countries. Its limitation is that it can only see in the sunlight. Even if there is a cloudy atmosphere, they cannot take pictures. Just as the Sun rises, sets and follows at a certain time, in the same way, this satellite rotates in a single path from north to south pole. If there is any difference in the pictures taken at different times, it also shows clearly. If the enemy army is doing any movement or has done any strategic construction, then it gets caught in the grip of photography. Telescope: Can capture the shadow of a car The speed of the cartosat in the sky is up to 7.5 kilometers per second. But the telescope's eyes are so sharp that the lines of marking on the airport or road, the car running on the road and its shadow are also captured. If there is any erosion due to the water tank on the roof, the movement of people on a large scale or the flood in the river, it is also captured in real time and sent to the control center for analysis. Telescopes and cameras built in SAC are the best in that they can take similar pictures of NASA. The high resolution image captured by the homemade camera of Shivshakti Point in the Chandrayaan mission was even better than NASA. Radar: Can keep an eye on the clouds in the dark Microwave SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) is a state-of-the-art radar technology. SAC has also developed these payloads. This radar can work during the day, night as well as even if the atmosphere is cloudy or foggy or it is raining. SAR is an active radar system. It sends a microwave signal on its own and creates a high resolution image from its reflected wave.
