Tasmina Sayyed, a 23-year-old from Gothada village in Savli taluka of Vadodara, emerged victorious in the recently held panchayat elections and became the youngest woman sarpanch of the surrounding area.
Tasmina, a young sarpanch, said, "I did not just want to become sarpanch, I have to fulfill the dreams of the people of the village. My father was a former sarpanch, and I have seen him working to improve basic amenities, especially water supply, in this village. I am only carrying forward my father's legacy and the work he has done during his tenure.
