Vadodara: Police have arrested three persons who robbed an elderly woman's chain in Gotri area of Vadodara yesterday afternoon.
A 78-year-old woman was walking on ISKCON Road in Gotri yesterday afternoon when one of the three men on a scooter snatched a chain weighing one and a half tola from her neck. The incident led to an uproar but the chains managed to escape.
A complaint was lodged at Gotri police station about the incident and on the other hand three teams of the crime branch launched an investigation through sources including CCTV footage and mobile surveillance from different areas.
