The farewell ceremony of ASI Gulab Singh Bhabhor, who retired after 36 years of undisputed service at the Police Bhawan, was held as per the tribal tradition. At the time of departure, more than 250 people danced to the beat of drums and instruments. The family gifted him more than 500 grams of silver, 20 watches, 6 shoots and 6 sarees to his wife. Gulab Singh, who joined as a constable in August 1990, served in departments like Panigate, Fatehganj, City, Crime Branch, PCB and Anti-Human Trafficking. Gulab Singh knelt before the police building and saluted the residents of Vadodara. His 2 sons and 2 daughters are serving in government jobs by becoming doctors.
