Two major accidents took place in Madhya Pradesh on Thursday night. The first accident took place in Katni's Rithi police station area. Here a pickup vehicle hit the bike. Four members of the same family were killed. The second accident took place at Kurai in Seoni. Here, at a high speed, the bike rammed into a truck parked on the road. The couple and their two children lost their lives. The in-charge of the Rithi police station. According to Shahid, the accident took place between Hirapur and Budgaon at around 9 pm on Thursday. The bikers were hit by a pickup truck loaded with tomatoes coming from Damoh. The collision was so severe that two youths riding the bike and a two-and-a-half-year-old girl died on the spot, while the fourth youth died at Rithi Hospital. The deceased have been identified as Anu Basor (32), their two-and-a-half-year-old daughters Bharti Basor, Vinod Basor (30) and Premlal Basor (32). All the deceased were from Bagwar in Panna district and were returning home from Barji village in Katni district. Vinod was Anu's brother-in-law. Premlal Vinod was in a relationship with his brother-in-law. Check out 2 pictures of the accident. After the accident, the driver fled the scene leaving the pickup vehicle. Salaiya outpost in-charge Vinod Pandey rushed to the spot along with a police team. The injured youth was rushed to the Rithi community health centre by ambulance but his life could not be saved. Police have taken possession of all the bodies and sent them to the Rithi Community Health Centre for postmortem. All those who lost their lives in the accident were earning their livelihood by working as labourers. Police are searching for the absconding pickup driver. The second accident took place in Kurai in Seoni when he was on his way to his in-laws to celebrate the New Year. At around 7.30 pm, a bike rammed into a truck parked on the road near Riddhi Tech on the Jabalpur-Nagpur national highway. The deceased have been identified as Parmanand Barkade (45), his wife Geeta Barkade (38), their eight-year-old daughter Mahi and four-year-old son Deepanshu. All of them were on their way to celebrate the New Year at their in-laws in Dargadha village on a bike (MP 22 ZC 2632). The police have sent the bodies to the hospital for postmortem. According to Barghat SDOP Lalit Gathre, the truck was parked on the four-lane bank due to engine failure. Indicators were also installed on the truck, but due to darkness and high speed, the bike rider could not see the truck. The collision was so fierce that all four died on the spot. Kurai police rushed to the spot as soon as the incident was reported and the bodies were sent to the hospital for postmortem. All will be PM on Friday morning. Also read this news...
Two killed as goods vehicle collides with tree
While returning from a fair in Anuppur district on Thursday night, a speeding goods vehicle lost control and hit a roadside tree. Two people died on the spot while three others were seriously injured in the accident. The other two suffered minor injuries.
