Case 1 | A married woman living in the Sehore area of Palitana was facing repeated harassment by her in-laws. There used to be quarrels over small issues and the situation became so aggravated that the woman was under mental stress. According to the victim, the father-in-law tried to raise his hand on her and her husband also did not listen to her properly. He was living in an uncomfortable situation in the house due to constant taunting. In this case, Abhayam counselled the victim and held a meeting with the in-laws and persuaded both the parties. Case 2 | A married woman living in the area of Palitana taluka was a victim of domestic harassment in her in-laws' house. During a quarrel over common matters, the woman was physically harassed by her husband, due to which she panicked. After this, the husband contacted 181 forcing Parineeta to leave the house with her young child. The matter was also persuaded to the family members. Keeping in mind the safety of the woman, she was guided to go to the pier. The victim was finally safely transported to her father's house. An elderly woman was reunited with her family in Talaja
Case 3 | After this, Abhayam spoke to the old woman. In which the elderly woman said that she had left the house due to a quarrel with her sons. Due to the condition of the family, he could not even stay with his daughter. In this case, the 181 team contacted the sons and daughters of the elderly woman telephonically and coordinated with the village sarpanch. At the same time, the son was strictly instructed to take care of the mother and not to harass her in any way.
