Gujarat Chamber of Commerce opens help desk for war trapped people: Appeals to keep goods low, 6 people, including businessmen, return safely to Ahmedabad

The Global Business Foundation (IBF) has launched a help desk for Indian citizens. So far, more than 82 people have enquired at the help desk. Many Indians are stranded in Dubai after the Iranian attack. The Consulate General of India is in Dubai and the Embassy is in Abu Dhabi. After which the embassy officials assured to contact him. Embassy officials complete the formalities and 6 of the stranded evacuees have returned to Ahmedabad. Out of these 6 people, one was a diabetic. While a family had a one-year-old child. Among the 6 returnees was a businessman named Sumant Chaudhary. He has thanked the IBF. IBF secretary Hiren Gandhi told Divya Bhaskar that Dubai is a business center and there should be connectivity to other Gulf countries. Many traders from Gujarat and India visit there. It's a 2-2:30 hour route from here. The dominance of Gujaratis in Dubai is very good. Talking about how the idea of starting the help desk came about, he said, "After this war, we got the news that the traders are having a lot of trouble coming back. There was a lot of panic as 2-3 drones exploded there. In such a situation, the IBF decided that we should start a help desk. So we started this help desk and gave us an e-mail as well as a mobile number. We will help the traders by taking the government and the embassy together. He appealed to the stranded people to contact the Indian Embassy. They say that the stranded people should contact the Indian Embassy properly. The embassy will provide a form that will help in immigration and flight booking. Contact the Ministry of External Affairs. You will get support and a way. Go and complete the protocols and formalities. The Indian government is fully active. Contact us too. We will support you, we will explain. No one needs to panic. He also asked them to keep their luggage low and avoid shopping. They say that because of the luggage, the space of 2 people is reduced. What is the need to do this?
