A shameful incident has taken place at the Matkiphod event held on the occasion of Janmashtami in Unai village of Vansda taluka of Navsari district. Liquor bottles were tied to the matki during the Dahi Handi festival. This photo has gone viral on social media, which has caused a lot of outrage in the entire area. In the viral photo, the brand of liquor bottles named 'Magic Moment' are clearly visible with the matki. The video has been posted by bootlegger Dharmesh Khatri, his son Harsh Khatri (who is seen in a black T-shirt) and another person Ashish Patel (resident of Sindhai). Three people, including a bootlegger's son, have been arrested Vansda police have taken action for hurting the religious sentiments of the Hindu community. The police have registered a case against Dharmesh Khatri, Harsh Khatri and Ashish Patel and arrested them. A case has been registered against them under Sections 292, 299, 302 and 54 of the Indian Judicial Code.
