Uncontrolled diabetes increases risk of heart disease, kidney problems: Report

World Diabetes Day 2025: Diabetes cases are on the rise in Gujarat. At present, about 50 lakh people in the state have diabetes problems. According to doctors, the average age of diagnosis of diabetes has come down from 40 years to 30 years due to professional stress, sedentary lifestyle, insufficient sleep, regular intake of fast food and less physical activity. Uncontrolled diabetes even for five years increases the risk of heart disease, stroke and kidney problems.
