Tensions between the US and Iran continue. Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump said that the US is negotiating with Iran and he would prefer a deal rather than military action. However, despite his emphasis on diplomacy, Trump has stuck to his old stance that Iran should never be allowed to acquire a nuclear weapon.
I don't want to take people's lives—Trump
Donald Trump talked about the war on Iran at the White House. "We are attacking them. I would prefer to compromise because I don't want to kill people. We were ready for the biggest attack since World War II. He called me and said please don't do this, let's talk. Then he said that we never said that. They respect us... Iran cannot have nuclear weapons," he said.

is doing heavy losses

Iran warned
If there is an agreement between the US and Iran, it can reduce tensions on Hormuz. But this can only happen if both countries agree. Amid reports of the deal, a senior Iranian military official warned that they would not sit idly by if the US continued to blockade Hormuz for Iranian ships. If the ships are not given way, Tehran will target US ships.
