More than 20 US warships deployed in the Middle East, what does Trump want?

Donald Trump has said that Washington is only in incomplete talks with Tehran to end the war in the Middle East. US Central Command CENTCOM said in a post on X that since the blockade was implemented, the US military has diverted at least 55 commercial ships, decommissioned 2 of them and captured 2.

CENTCOM comes amid heightened tensions around Hormuz. Tehran is adamant on its demands, without which it will not remove its grip on this important sea route for commercial shipping. This narrow sea route connects the Persian Gulf with the Gulf of Oman and the Arabian Sea. About one-fifth of the world's crude oil and gas passes through this route. Now this path has become President Trump's 'War of Choice'.
