Vadodara News: Retired policeman attacked by crocodile while watering his field, kept in his mouth for two hours

A very heart-wrenching incident has come to light on the banks of the Vishwamitri river passing by Paldi village in Waghodia taluka of Vadodara district. Rameshbhai Pirubhai Bhalia, a 60-year-old retired policeman who had gone to work in the fields here, was attacked by a crocodile. The crocodile dragged him into the deep water of the river, causing chaos and panic in the entire Paldi village.

According to the information received, Rameshbhai Bhaliya had gone to his farm for work and was working to carry water from the river to the field. At that time, as soon as he got down into the river, the crocodile hiding in Vishwamitri suddenly attacked him and dragged him into the water. Shockingly, the crocodile kept this retired policeman in his mouth for two hours continuously, due to which the lives of the people present at the scene were stuck in the palm.

A convoy of fire brigade, forest and Jarod police rushed to the spot.

As soon as the incident was reported, a large number of nearby villagers gathered on the banks of the river and immediately informed the administration. Considering the seriousness of the incident, teams of Vadodara Fire Brigade, Forest Department and Jarod police station rushed to the spot. The teams have carried out rescue operations with great difficulty to rescue and rescue the retired policeman from the clutches of the crocodile in the river water.
