Vadodara: The Vadodara Rural Police have solved the mystery of the firing incident at RNA-48 flat near Priya Cinema crossroads in Vadodara's Bhayali and arrested a total of six accused, including the main accused. Police investigations have revealed that the main accused, Mehul Mahendrabhai Gadhvi (resident of Sokli, Viramgam, Ahmedabad), Shaktisinh Vanrajsinh Rana, Sanjaybhai Ramesh Chandra Dave, Vijaykumar Chandulal Bharwadi, Deepak Shambhunath Jha and Inderjeet Singh Aniruddhasinh Vaghela were enjoying a foreign liquor party in the office. In the meantime, Mehul Gadhvi fired from his revolver. The bullet hit the glass of the flat in front of it, creating an atmosphere of panic in the area. On being informed about the incident, a team of Taluka Police immediately reached the spot and with the help of CCTV footage, technical surveillance, human source and FSL, the entire incident was solved within a few hours and the accused were arrested. Six accused remanded for one day
On Saturday, the taluka police produced all the six accused in the court and sought a three-day police remand. However, after the court granted a one-day police custody remand of all the six accused, the police have now started further interrogation.
