Vadodara Corporation: There are 31 crematoriums in Vadodara city. The corporation is going to manage all these crematoriums through outsourcing by handing them over to private entities. The opposition Congress has opposed this, and is also going to submit a petition to the corporation on this issue this evening. Corporation circles say that work orders will soon be given to these private institutions. The proposal for this has already been approved in the Standing Committee earlier.
