Car crashes into container on Padra-Jambusar road: Car driver dies, trapped body pulled out after a lot of struggle

The Padra-Jambusar road in Vadodara district has become an accident zone. Another fatal accident took place near Kural village in Padra. The driver of the car died on the spot after the car exploded behind the container. The police rushed to the spot following the incident and further investigation is underway in the matter. As soon as the incident was reported, a convoy from the Vadu police station rushed to the spot. Police pulled out the body trapped in the car after a lot of struggle with the help of locals. The body was then shifted to the Vadu Community Health Centre for postmortem as well as further processing. Long queue of vehicles on Padra-Jambusar highway The fatal accident led to long queues of vehicles on both sides of the Padra-Jambusar highway and caused heavy traffic jams. The Vadu police immediately reopened the traffic by removing the damaged vehicles from the road with the help of a crane. There has been a strong demand among the local citizens for proper traffic control and strict measures by the administration to curb the increasing number of accidents on this road.
