Vadodara: Late at night, bikers chased a youth and fired indiscriminately at Waghodia Chowk, silence prevailed in the entire area.

As the law and order situation in Vadodara has deteriorated, criminals have become ruthless. Vadodara: A firing incident broke out in the busy Waghodia Chowkadi area of Vadodara late on Friday night. Unidentified assailants on a motorcycle fired indiscriminately at a young man, seriously injuring him. The youth is said to be originally from Delhi and is a businessman

The assailants started firing bullets from the pistol

According to preliminary information, the injured youth was passing through the road with his car when two men on a bike chased him. Before the youth could understand anything, the assailants started firing bullets from the pistol.

The young man was taken to the hospital

The bike-borne shooters fled from the spot at full speed after committing the incident. The incident led to a massive stampede and panic among the people in the vicinity. Locals rushed the bloodied youth to a nearby private hospital for treatment where his condition was found to be stable.

A police convoy rushed to the spot

As soon as the incident was reported, a convoy of Vadodara city police and senior officials rushed to the spot. The police have cordoned off the entire area and ordered a blockade. However, the real reason behind this indiscriminate firing is a personal feud, a financial transaction or a gang war, it is still intact. Currently the police have set the wheels in motion to nab the absconding men based on CCTV footage from the vicinity.
