More than 300 students were honored by the Bhidiya Koli community: Youth reached high positions with education awareness for 20 years

A student felicitation ceremony was held by the Bhidiya Samyukta Koli Samaj at Veraval. More than 300 students from Class I to Undergraduate and Post Graduate levels were felicitated at the event for their academic achievements. The event, which has been held continuously for the last two decades, has contributed significantly in bringing awareness about education in the society. On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Jitesh Solanki said that the Bhidia Samyukta Koli Samaj has maintained this tradition of encouraging students for the last 20 years. Every year more than 300 students are given awards to boost their morale, as a result of which the quality of education in the society is continuously increasing. He further said that the youth of Bhidiya Koli community of Sagarkhedu community are no longer limited to traditional fishing business. They are also making a mark in government jobs, high bureaucracy, education, technical and other professional fields. This change is the result of education awareness efforts made over the years by community leaders. Dr. Solanki stressed that only an educated society can make an invaluable contribution to the development of the nation. Therefore, every family should encourage their talents along with providing quality education to their children. Such student felicitation programs not only boost the self-confidence of the children but also inspire them to achieve better results. The Patel-Panch of the Samaj, leaders and members of the student honor committee played an active role in making the event a success. Leaders of various communities, political office-bearers, government officials, academicians and a large number of people from the society were present at the event.
