Prabhat Pheri was organised by a joint effort of Our Heritage and Tulsi Patra Art Foundation. As part of the celebration of the 150th birth anniversary of the Iron Man 'Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel', a special 'Prabhat Pheri' was organized in Vadodara by Nav Chetna Swabhiman Charitable Foundation, Tulsipatra Art Foundation and Our Heritage in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. Prabhat Pheri is a mass procession associated with the spiritual and cultural activities that take place at dawn. The Prabhat Pheri started from the iconic Sursagar lake at 5.30 am today and passed through major religious places including Narasimha Temple, Kalyan Raiji Haveli and ended at Vitthal Temple. Adults ranging from 10 years old to 85 years of age joined the Prabhat Pheri event. Along with musical instruments like Ramsagar, Manjira and Kadtal, traditional Prabhatiya such as 'Ja Ja Nindra Hum Tanne Waru and Jago Ne Jashodana Jaya' created a spiritual atmosphere in the entire Pol area. A notable aspect of Prabhat Pheri was the simple and elegant dress code, the devotees were seen dressed in white and light coloured attire symbolizing purity, peace and devotion. The event aims to promote unity and spiritual awareness among citizens and preserve cultural traditions.
