Water Released From Kadana-Dharoi Dams: Gujarat has received 96 per cent of the season's average rainfall. South Gujarat has received 101 per cent of the season's rainfall, Saurashtra 87 per cent and Kutch 88 per cent. Rivers, rivulets and dams have overflowed due to torrential rains. Water has been released from Kadana and Dharoi dams. While 80,000 cusecs of water is being released from Dharoi dam, the administration has alerted six districts, including Ahmedabad, Gandhinagar. In which it has been revealed that the lower part of the riverfront in Ahmedabad has been closed.
