More than 7.04 crore voters in final electoral roll in West Bengal, names of 61 lakh people deleted, final electoral rolls of 11 states/UTs declared so far

The final voter list of the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) in West Bengal was published on Saturday. State Election Commissioner Manoj Kumar Agrawal said that the total number of voters in the state is now 7,04,59,284. Before SIR, there were 7.66 crore voters in the state. A total of 61,78,245 names have been removed in the entire process. In the electoral roll revision process, names of more than 5,46,053 lakh electors were deleted through Form-7 and 1,82,036 electors were included by submitting Form-6 and Form-6A. The CEO said that more than 60 lakh voters are in the under adjudication category, but they have been included in the post-SIR election roll. The reform process was carried out as per the directions of the Election Commission. The process of elector verification under the second phase of SIR commenced from 27th October 2025 in 12 States-UTs of the country. So far, the final list of 11 States/UTs has been published. Now the final list of Uttar Pradesh will come on April 10. The dates for the West Bengal Assembly elections are likely to be announced in the second week of March, the state election commission said on Tuesday. Chhattisgarh has a total of 1,87,30,914 registered voters. Compared to the draft list, the final list added 2,34,994 new voters. Kerala has a total of 2,69,53,644 electors, while there were 2,78,50,855 voters before the SIR started in October last year. The number of voters in Andaman and Nicobar has come down to 2,58,040. A total of 52,364 names have been deleted from the list. The total number of voters in Goa is 10,57,566. A total of 11,85,034 voters were registered in Goa before the launch of SIR. February 17: A total of 4,40,30,725 voters are registered in Gujarat after the final electoral roll. February 14: A total of 9,44,211 voters are registered in the Union Territory of Puducherry and 57,607 in Lakshadweep. February 10: Publish the final list in Assam The EC has released the final electoral roll under the Special Revision (SR) 2026 in Assam. As per EC, more than 2.43 lakh names have been deleted as compared to the draft electoral roll. There are a total of 2,49,58,139 registered voters in the state. The number of voters in the draft electoral roll was 2,52,01,624. After the special revision process, 2,43,485 names have been deleted from the list.
