Development of Ahmedabad Vadodara Express Highway and Gujarat
Today we will talk about Ahmedabad Vadodara Express Highway. It is about toll tax. Ahmedabad Vadodara Express Highway was inaugurated by Atal Bihari Bajpai in 2004 at a cost of around ₹475 crore. When the toll road/express highway was started, the toll tax was ₹26 from Ahmedabad to Nadiad and ₹58 from Ahmedabad to Vadodara. A toll tax is said to be reasonable at the time because the government took the land from the farmers, expenditure did to raise the road by eight to ten feet and construct a new structure/structure so ₹26 from Ahmedabad to Nadiadna and ₹58 from Ahmedabad to Vado
