We have a bad law in Gujarat "Farmer's son becomes farmer". This is said to be an evil practice in which all the remaining people living in villages can never move forward and those who do not know how to do farming will destroy the country.
Countless agricultural universities have been established in the Gujarat state in recent times. Therefore, the government should acquire land from the farmers and only those who have passed from the Agricultural University should be given cultivable land. Not giving inherited land as per 7/12 quote, so that only those interested in farming can bring the country forward through agricultural productivity.
In the present circumstances the farmer's son is more interested to become a builder. On one hand the farmer says in paid media that the land is our mother and on the other hand his son is eager to sell the same land as non-agricultural land and get the no-objection certificate by shortcut to sell the land and become rich. What kind of government policy is this in which only ineligible people have agricultural land and those who have passed from agricultural university have to struggle for farming.
