City Anchor: 'NaMo Seva - Anasuni Kahaniyan' street drama initiative in Maharashtra

On the occasion of the completion of 25 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's public life, the Bharatiya Janata Party is implementing the 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' campaign across the country. Through this campaign, various activities are being organized with the aim of conveying the inspiring story of service, dedication, patriotism and good governance in Modi's life journey to the masses. Under this campaign, a street play initiative 'Namo Seva – Unsuni Kahaniyan' was launched at KC College, Mumbai in the presence of BJP Maharashtra Maharashtra state president Ravindra Chavan. Artists and organizers who performed street plays were felicitated on the occasion. The initiative aims to effectively convey the journey of struggle, service, patriotism and public service in Modi's public life to the masses through street plays. Artists from Pimpri-Chinchwad will present inspiring events of Modi's life in different parts of Maharashtra through street plays. By October 15, 2026, a big experiment will be conducted in every district, and at least 10 street plays will be held in every assembly constituency. Thus, these street plays will be staged on a large scale across the state, and budding artists will get an opportunity to spread awareness and convey social messages through this medium, Chavan said. "'Namo Seva Gatha' is a commendable initiative to establish such inspiring moments of their lives in the minds of people through street plays. Just as the film 'Hanuman Ansh' made by new artists created records, 'Namo Seva Gatha' will also record street plays," Ravindra Chavan expressed confidence on the occasion. Presence of a large number of people Maharashtra Cultural Affairs Minister Ed. Ashish Shelar, Assembly Speaker Rahul Narwekar, BJP Mumbai President Amit Satam, Mumbai Mayor Ritu Tawde, BJP state general secretary Niranjan Dawkhare, Amit Gorakhe and a large number of party office-bearers, workers and citizens were present at the inauguration ceremony.
