Task: 50 newly appointed officers imparted training in administrative efficiency

The Common Foundation Course has been started at SIPA in Gandhinagar for the newly appointed officers in various departments of the state government. The main aim of this training is to acquaint the new officers with administrative efficiency, governance system and government policies. The first batch of 50 officers, which began under the guidance of Dr. Harit Shukla, was inaugurated by Deputy Director General Chandresh Kotak. The special thing is that the number of women officers in this batch is high. The course has been designed by amending the training rules to give a basic understanding of governance to the new officers joining the government services. The programme at SIPA will provide in-depth guidance to the officers on topics such as public policy, good governance, legal framework, and financial management. During this training, lectures and discussion sessions will be conducted by subject matter experts and experienced officials. Efforts will be made to inculcate leadership qualities and practical skills among the officers. The batch, which started on the second day of International Women's Day, saw a higher number of women trainees in the trainees.
