Almost once every year, around 5,000 people living in koteshwar village and adjoining areas like Casa Residency and Samruddhi Duplex are stuck in their homes. While the residency in and around Koteshwar village is built in a low-lying area, this problem arises every year. Because of which people get upset. This year too, the flood waters of the Vishwamitri river have severely affected areas like Vadsar, Koteshwar village, Casa Residency and Samruddhi Duplex. These areas have become incommunicado as roads in these areas are flooded. Around 4,000 to 5,000 people are stranded in their homes, causing them to face a shortage of food, water and other essentials. However, people have heaved a sigh of relief as the level of Vishwamitri is gradually decreasing due to the closure of the gates of Ajwa Lake. Our building is flooded every year, last year our car also drowned. Our building gets flooded every year and we are flooded with houses. Last year, our car also sank. When the water came this year, it was once again out of contact. However, the next day, we can move and go through the road behind the building when the water recedes.
