As the building of the Bhavnagar Collector's Office is 67 years old and the new service and facilities cannot be included, the Collector's office is being renovated at Vidyanagar in the city at a cost of Rs 33 crore. This year, the people of Bhavnagar district will get the service of the new collector's office. The newly constructed Collector's Office at Vidyanagar in the city will provide services and facilities to the public in a building with five floors and a construction area of 10,621 square meters in a 17,500 square metre space. The road and building department (state) is constructing the road and building department with the design of the newly constructed Collector and District Magistrate's office in the same campus and the work will be completed in the near future. The building of the Collector's office will include the offices of the Revenue Department such as Province Office, City Mamlatdar Office, Gram Mamlatdar Office, Haq Chokshi, City Survey Superintendent's Office, NIC Office, Deputy Collector Stamp, District Land Office, Supply Office, Common Service Centre etc. Apart from this, a large conference area of 215 square meters and a video conference hall with an area of 62 square meters along with waiting room for the applicants as well as the services and facilities of the District Emergency Operation Centre will also be made available in the Collector's office building. Also, gardening will be done with a huge parking lot in the campus of the collector's office.
