A 32-year-old rickshaw driver from Warasia committed suicide by hanging himself on Thursday. The driver used to turn the rickshaw for a daily fare of ~350. However, he could not pay the fare to the rickshaw owner every day. Warasia police registered an accidental death and are investigating. The family of 32-year-old Baldev Bhalia, a resident of Narendranagar, had gone to Surat for a wedding, with only his wife and daughter at home. The wife had gone to pick up their daughters to school on Thursday. When I got home, the door was locked. The neighbours broke down the door. There Baldev committed suicide by tying a blanket to the ceiling fan of the room. He was rushed to the hospital where doctors declared him dead. Baldev's father Vishnu Bhaliya said he took this step when he went to Surat.
