The driver of the luxury staff bus carrying the employees of Alaima Company at Rajpur hit a youth who was crossing the road near the Palavasna overbridge and died on the spot. The taluka police have registered a case against the bus driver and are investigating. Vanrajsinh Vikramsinh Zala, a resident of Bhesana village in Mehsana taluka, is driving a luxury staff bus of Alima Company based in Rajpur. At around 6:30 am on Friday, the company employees were on their way to Rajpur from Mehsana Radhanpur Chowk in a luxury hotel when they were crossing the Palavasna overbridge. At that time, a 40-year-old man, who was picking up plastic bottles on the side of the road, suddenly went out to cross the road. So he braked the car. But when the tyre of the bus turned on the young man's head and legs, his head burst and he died on the spot and landed on the side of the luxury road. A team of 112 police has recovered the body of the youth and conducted a search for his parents to identify him. Mehsana taluka police have registered a case of accidental death against the driver of the luxury bus, Vanraj Singh, and are investigating.
