Two men were killed when a Vande Bharat train rammed into them near the blind spot in Jamnagar. The incident took place in the evening. The collision of the train was so severe that both the persons died on the spot. The deceased have been identified as Rameshbhai Hajabhai Chauhan (aged about 54 years, resident of Laxmi Nagar Society, Jamnagar) and Sonu Kumar Amika Kumar (aged about 34 years, originally residing in Guwahati, Assam). As soon as the accident was reported, the police reached the spot. The police took possession of both the bodies and sent them to the government hospital for postmortem. The police have registered a case of accidental death in the matter and started further investigation.
