District police chief Dr. Ravi Mohan Saini himself went out on night patrol to maintain law and order during Navratri in Jamnagar. He visited the old and new garba venues of the city. Dr. Saini was accompanied by Deputy Superintendent of Police of Jamnagar city division J.N. Zala and police inspector V.B. Choudhary of the local crime branch. Police staff including Chaudhary also joined. The police officers took stock of the situation by visiting the garba venues and the main roads of the city. This patrolling was done so that no incident takes place during Navratri and people can celebrate the festival peacefully. The police have intensified security arrangements to control anti-social elements.
