Vadodara: The Makarpura police have arrested a man for allegedly swindling Rs 58.98 lakh from 110 people in Danteshwar on the pretext of giving them jobs in the railways. The police have sent the accused to jail after completing his four-day remand.
Sunil Kamadi, a gym trainer living in Dabhoi Road Vaishnav Kutir Society, lodged a complaint at Makarpura police station and said, "I had spoken to Akash Sanjaybhai Chauhan (R/o Chirayu Nagar Society, Danteshwar) for a job in the railways. According to him , I transferred the money on the QR code he gave.
