Girl living in PG raped by security guard by tying wire around her neck: Interior designer struck from behind while walking on terrace, incident in posh area of Ahmedabad

A girl living in a PG in Anandnagar area of Ahmedabad was raped by a security guard of the society by tying a wire around her neck. The girl, who was studying interior designing, was walking on the terrace when a security guard came from behind and tied a wire around her neck and raped her for an hour. The accused, Dharamsinh Ramshankar Singh, was arrested early in the morning. The security guard was caught on CCTV coming to the terrace in a lift and leaving after committing the rape. Security guard assaults girl Yesterday (August 8), the security guard was already sitting on the terrace waiting for the girl. When the girl came to walk on the terrace, the accused talked to the girl and demanded to have physical relations. The girl refused and persuaded the accused. The girl was then going down from the terrace, during which the accused tied the girl with a wire from behind and knocked her down, then closed the door of the terrace and raped the girl. After the incident, the security guard fled and got down in the lift. The girl then informed the police. The accused had joined the job 6 days ago The accused, a resident of Uttar Pradesh's Hardoi district, had joined the job as a security guard barely six to seven days ago. When the girl went to the terrace at night, the accused raped her when he got a chance to follow her. The girl has been shifted to the hospital for treatment. Accused Dharam Singh Ramshankar Singh arrested Local police, LCB and crime branch formed 10 separate teams to investigate. The accused, Dharamsinh Ramshankar Singh, has been arrested during the police investigation. For the last 3 days, all the top officials of the city, including the police commissioner, have been patrolling the streets late at night and checking at different places. But in the meantime, an incident has taken place on the terrace of PG.
