Passengers complain to CISF after video of people praying in public at Ahmedabad airport goes viral

Ahmedabad: The issue of offering namaz in public places has once again come to light from Ahmedabad, this time from the Ahmedabad airport. This morning, more than 10 people were seen offering namaz at the Ahmedabad airport on the way to the flight after boarding pass, a video of which was taken by an aware citizen and later lodged a complaint with the CISF in-charge, the video is currently going viral on social media.

A controversial video has surfaced from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad. The video went viral on social media after an alert citizen captured the video on his mobile phone showing a public prayer being offered at the airport terminal at 5.30 am. Not only this, the conscious citizen also complained to the CISF in-charge about this. People are also reacting differently on social media: Many people have alleged that such religious activities in public places hurt the religious sentiments of others. Commuters say certain rules should be followed in a safe and sensitive place like the airport. There was resentment among other passengers present at the airport for performing such a religious act in public.
