6 persons caught with stolen copper wire worth Rs 10 lakh: Confessed to stealing from 'Khushboo Metal' factory near Kobdi toll naka; Names of 5 more revealed in interrogation

The Bhavnagar Local Crime Branch has busted 6 persons with a Creta car parked in a suspicious condition near Hill Park Chowk and busted a quantity of stolen copper wire worth lakhs of rupees. The police have recovered Rs. 733 kg copper wire, car and mobile worth Rs 10.26 lakh from the accused. Goods worth Rs 21.36 lakh have been seized. During interrogation, the accused confessed that they had stolen the theft from a factory named Khushboo Metal near Kobdi Toll Naka twenty days ago, in which the involvement of 5 other persons has also been revealed. Police raided and caught 6 persons red-handed While the LCB team was investigating property-related offences, they received information that some persons with a Creta car (GJ-04-EP-9399) were parked with a sack of copper wire in the Bawal corner near the university campus on Sidsar-Budhel Road from Hillpark Chowki. The police raided and arrested 6 persons namely Vishal alias Kamu Visavadia, Raghu Algotar, Kishan Mewada, Rohit alias Rahul Babaria, Vivek Algotar and Darshit Mer. Confessed to stealing from the factory, 5 more booked The police seized Rs. On rigorous interrogation of 733 kg copper wire worth Rs 10,26,200, the accused confessed to have stolen from the 'Khushboo Metal' factory near Kobdi Toll Naka on the Talaja highway. The involvement of Karan Dhaturatar, Sanjay Mer, Kuldeep Algotar, Dharmik Gedia and Yuvraj alias UV in the crime came to light. The LCB seized all the items and handed them over to the Vartej police station for further legal action.
