Late Bollywood actor Dharmendra was recently honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award posthumously at the Screen Awards function. When Bobby Deol reached the stage to receive the award on behalf of his father, he could not hold back his tears. Bobby got very emotional while giving the speech. He recalled Dharmendra's contribution and his last days' fondness for social media. Bobby Deol's eyes were immediately moist while receiving the award. He thanked his father with a heavy heart. Bobby said, "The love I see for my dad in all your eyes is his greatest achievement. I still feel like I will go home and tell them that I have won this award for them. I am very lucky that God made me his son." Bobby said, "My dad has touched the hearts of all of you through his work and Instagram Reels without knowing you all personally. Creating reels on Instagram had become his new hobby. He always wanted everyone to be happy. He believed that if we believe in our talent, we can achieve anything in life." He further said, "Wherever I go, I get a lot of love because the doors of everyone's hearts are open for my dad and brother. People love my dad so much that they adopt me and my brother without thinking. Bobby also said that his father saw both good and bad days in the industry, but never gave up. Aditya Dhar's spy thriller film 'Dhurandhar' has emerged as the biggest winner of this year's award night, with a total of 14 awards to its name. Ranveer Singh won the Best Actor and Aditya Dhar won the Best Director award for the film, while Akshaye Khanna won the Best Supporting Actor (Male) trophy. On the other hand, Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter starrer 'Homebound' beat films like 'Dhurandhar' and 'Chhava' to win the title of 'Best Film'.
