For the last 19 years, the Chhatreshwar-Patreshwar Mahadev temple will organise, distribute trees and conduct blood donation camps.

The darshan of Baba Amarnath Barfili cave has been organized for the 19th consecutive year in Chhatroda village of Veraval taluka. This program will be held at the Chhatreshwar-Patreshwar Mahadev Temple. It will be held on September 03 and 04. Devotees will be able to have darshan of Baba Amarnath during these two days. Along with the visit to the Barfili cave of Amarnath, the devotees will also get the benefit of the darshan of Lord Jagannath, Kedareshwar Darshan, Ram-Laxman Jhula and Mansarovar. Theme-based replicas have also been made so that the new generation can have a true experience of rural culture. Tree saplings will be distributed on September 03 from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. In the evening, the musical group of Amit Vaghela and Lakhan Wala will perform an orchestra. On September 04, a blood donation camp will be held from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm as a tribute in the memory of the deceased youth of Chhatroda village. The camp has been organized for the benefit of Thalassemia affected children of the district in association with the Indian Red Cross Society Gir Somnath district branch with the theme "One donation of blood, immortal honour of memory". In the evening, a bhajan evening program will be held in the company of Imtiaz Mir and Jayesh Ahir. A program of Matki Phod has also been held at 12.00 pm. Apart from Gir Somnath, pilgrims from all over India coming to Somnath and Sasangir have been cordially invited to take advantage of all the programs, including the darshan of the icy cave of Amarnath. The public of the entire Gir Somnath district has been appealed to donate blood to fulfill the line of "Raktdaan Mahadaan".
