Vadodara: A case has been registered against a retired employee of Vadodara's Sama-Savli Road for allegedly cheating him of Rs 14 lakh by promising to get his son a job as a talati.
Chandubhai Gohil, a retired employee of Ajita Nagar on Sama-Savli Road, told the police that he had come in contact with Ramesh alias Mahesh Devjibhai Vaghela (Prahlad Nagar, Satellite, Ahmedabad, a native of Kalyanpura, Kalol, Gandhinagar) through his acquaintance Ramanbhai Gohil, a resident of Manjusar.
Ramesh Gohil himself talked about the government getting land at a very cheap price and showed four acres of land in front of a private college in Savli.
